By registering, you agree to the following. Please read it. It is binding.
The Event is run by Synergy Global Inc., which operates Wall Street Running Club ("WSRC"). "We" and "us" below mean that company, WSRC, and our team, volunteers, photographers, sponsors, and partners.
This is not a closed-course race.
The streets stay open to traffic. No road closures, no traffic control, no marshals. You run on your own. You obey all traffic signals and police instructions, and you decide for yourself whether it is safe to start, to continue, or to stop.
You must be 18 or older.
Your entry is personal. Do not transfer it or run under someone else's bib.
There is no medical support.
No medic, no first aid, no AED, no ambulance. In an emergency, call 911. Your medical care and its cost are yours.
You are fit to do this.
You confirm you can run 14 kilometers on open city streets and that no doctor has told you to avoid strenuous exercise. We do not check this.
You accept the risk.
Running 14 kilometers on streets open to traffic carries risks up to and including serious injury or death: vehicles and bicycles at open intersections, other people, broken or blocked pavement, weather, cardiac events and other medical emergencies with no medical help on hand, and theft or damage to your property. You accept all of it, including anything caused by our own negligence.
You will not sue us.
To the fullest extent New York law allows, you and your family, heirs, and estate release us from every claim connected with this Event, including claims based on our own negligence, and you agree not to sue us over it. If someone else sues us because of something you did during the run, you cover the cost. This does not apply to gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Your entry fee
pays for your registration and your participant package only. It is not an admission fee to any facility, park, roadway, or place of recreation. We do not own or control the route. It is public street.
We can use your photos and your name.
You allow us to photograph and film you, and to use your name, image, results, and Strava name in any medium, worldwide, for any purpose including promotion, with no payment to you. This consent is given in writing for the purposes of Sections 50 and 51 of the New York Civil Rights Law.
Refunds.
Ask at least 7 calendar days before the start and you get everything back, ticketing fees included. After that, no refunds for any reason, and no transfers or deferrals. If we cancel the Event, everyone is refunded in full. Changing the date, start time, or route is not a cancellation.
New York law applies.
Any dispute goes to the courts in New York County, New York. If any part of this is unenforceable, the rest still stands.
